Absolutley adorable! I love to uplift the kiddos in my classroom and have them learn to uplift those around them. I would use one of those canisters as an "Encouragement Station". Whenever one of your kiddos sees someone else doing something great or something that another child has accomplished, they can write about it one a piece of paper and put it in the canister! At the end of the day, you could read them aloud to the students. :)
Great advice - I recently pinned something I had seen on Monday Made It called the "Compliment Can" and will definitely be using your idea to fill that minute or two when we're done stacking chairs & cleaning the floors and ready to leave the classroom but aren't able to since the little kids are still walking through the halls.
I plan on framing off an area of bulletin board space using the sparkly ribbon to save a spot for my anchor charts - I always tend to get carried away with everything I "have to have up" before teaching begins. This idea was inspired by something I saw recently on Pinterest! (of course)
As much as I thoroughly LOVE the summer, there is always something so exciting about stocking up on back to school supplies...lol. Your stash makes me want to hit the stores!
